Spring in Seville
Far from the crowded beaches and coastal tourist resorts; narrow streets, lively squares, and stunning architecture make Seville a blissful location popular with travellers from all over the world. The Blakely team visited recently to shoot some of our favourite SS23 looks.
The shoot took place in the heart of the city, in the historic neighbourhood of Santa Cruz. This area is known for its beautiful buildings, colourful flowers, and intricate tiles, making it the perfect backdrop. We shot from early in the morning to avoid the crowds and take advantage of the soft morning light.
Our villa was the perfect example of classic Spanish architecture. High ceilings with intricate detailing, bright and light rooms and elegant furniture allowed for us to shoot our more tailored collections ready for the summer, weddings, the races and every adventure our team will be heading on on this year.
Seville is a maze of narrow streets and alleys, with colourful buildings and balconies overflowing with flowers. We even stumbled into hidden courtyards filled with orange trees and beautiful fountains all which adds to the romantic feel of the southern Spanish destination.
Cafes and restaurants lined the squares, perfect for our morning coffee through to our evening cocktail to wrap up a day of shooting. Perhaps one of the most romantic destinations we’ve been to, Seville is definitely a spot we recommend.
